Finding beauty in ordinary things

I find true happiness and joy in photography by finding the beauty in everything around me. Finding beauty in the cold still waters of a lake early in the morning. In flowers before they have actually opened right outside my office building. In capturing the same tree silhouette every season and at both sunrise and sunset. Staying after a photo session to walk around to take in the beautiful landscape and finding the hidden squirrel or baby deer. Searching for hours to find the perfect Sunflower field and being so excited that it's hard to leave.

There is so much to be thankful for and so much beauty that God has created for us.
