I live on a 10 acre horse farm in North Yukon/Piedmont
and use my large horse barn as a studio. I also have several outdoor spaces that make great backdrops for any kind of session. Below are several of the mini sessions that I have offered. These are usually scheduled and listed on my Facebook page. If you see something you want for a specific session like a birthday, anniversary, cake smash, or any other special occasion, message me to discuss a date that would work for you.
Mini sessions are usually 10 to 15 minutes and are less expensive since I usually setup up once and schedule several sessions back to back. Even though the sessions are quick, it is still very important to me that you feel connected with your experience and have a great time!
I also have several props that can be used in family, portrait, senior or other types of sessions. Benches, chairs, boxes, metal tub, desk, swing, crates, stands, boat, dock, airplane, hot air balloon, etc. If you have a look in mind for your pictures, let's talk about it and figure out how to make it happen!
I love all the different themes that can be used for mini sessions and am always looking for new ideas! Personalizing your session that is unique to you is my goal!
Mini Session Information
- What is a mini session? A mini session is basically a short photo session. A normal photoshoot lasts 1-2 hours, covers multiple locations, and the photographer delivers dozens of photos to choose from. Mini sessions last only 10-20 minutes and include a smaller number of edited photos for you to choose from. They're extremely popular due to the lower price point which makes professional photography sessions more accessible to everyone!
- Why book a mini session? It's affordable, so you can get them done more often with no regrets. They're short, so they're easy on you and your busy schedule. They are a lot of fun and often use setups that are very unique.
- What is the size of your group? A mini session works great for kids, individuals, couples or small families that want some quick snapshots. If your group will have more than 3-4 people, I recommend a longer session so that we can get a nice selection of photos to choose from. Often times, an in studio setup maybe too small for a larger group.
- How much does it cost? We all want a great deal. The mini session prices are definitely the most affordable, so if you are on a tight budget it could be your best option. However, if you have a little bit of wiggle room, I recommend booking a 1-hour session due to the extra locations and additional photos you'll receive. Many of my mini sessions start at $80.00.
